Chiropractic affects the function of one’s body and is basically a health system that holds the entire body structure, especially the spine. This system can help in correcting an individual’s body alignment in order to reduce pain and to allow the body to heal and improve.

The main aim of this system is spinal manipulation. However, the administered chiropractic care now also includes a wide variety of treatments such as some manipulative therapies, postural education, ergonomic training for limiting back strain, etc.

Chiropractic research is mainly for treating back pain through spinal manipulation. This method of treatment can even be used for conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, etc. You can treat a migraine, neck pain, and even whiplash with spine manipulations.

What is Spinal manipulation?

It’s basically a therapeutic movement of the spine. You apply pressure on a joint between the two vertebrae of your spine, the pressure will twist the joint beyond the normal range of rotation, and you’ll hear a cracking noise.

The sound indicates that the vacuum between the joints has been broken and the thick fluid lubricates the spine. You can have the spinal manipulation done by either pushing on the vertebrae directly or indirectly you’ll have to twist the upper part of your body, doing one spinal joint at a time.

Schedule these treatments for at least 10-20 minutes for 2-3 times a week. Change your posture and opt for other treatments as well. By doing so, you’ll soon get rid of the pain!
