Crohn’s Disease & Colitis

Crohn’s and colitis are conditions that inflame the lining of the gastrointestinal or GI tract. This results in disruption of the body’s ability to properly digest food, absorb nutrients in the intestines and process waste in an appropriate manner. Both conditions(specifically ulcerative colitis) are part of the overall condition inflammatory bowel disease.
