Arm Pain

Arm pain can be caused by compressed nerves or damaged joints, muscles, and bones. Often arm pain results in sensations of numbness or weakness and can radiate from an injury to the neck or upper spine.

Individuals should seek medical attention if the pain is intense and lasts longer than a few days (eg: left arm pain). Seek immediate medical attention if you hear a bone crack, are motion impaired, have severe swelling or a sudden shooting pain that could signal a heart attack.
