Living with chronic pain can be discouraging and lonely. It is easy for someone to feel like they are all alone. The journey from that first experience of pain to getting a correct diagnosis can be long, taking years, in some cases. Reading other individual’s stories about their journey with chronic pain can be a comfort and/or reassurance.

For many individuals feeling better will not equal no pain, as their pain will not disappear. Learning that can be one of the gargantuan tasks for many who live with chronic pain. The benefit of seeing stories of real people who have come to that realization themselves can be cathartic and help those struggling daily with their feelings around chronic pain to reframe their experience and feelings, so they can move forward.
