Water Therapy

Water therapy is a low impact exercise that uses weightlessness to reduce spine and joint compression. Often referred to as aquatic therapy, this form of exercise is helpful for management and prevention of pain associated with movement and excessive compression.

Water therapy is one of many tools used by therapists to assist in the healing process of musculoskeletal issues and conditions for patients of all ages, abilities, and diagnoses. An evidence-based treatment option for chronic pain, water therapy has been shown to improve gait, muscle strength, endurance, balance, agility, coordination, and posture.
